1. Nnamdi Kanu accuses media of hiding Buhari’s death

The embattled leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, has accused the the media of being behind the suffering of the Nigerian masses.

Kanu while speaking about his claim about ‘Jubril from Sudan’ during a live broadcast on radio Biafra on Saturday, insisted that President Muhammadu Buhari was dead and the man in Aso Rock was an impostor. He accused the media of hiding the truth.

2. FG not serious about ending strike – ASUU

The Chairman of the University of Calabar branch of Academic Staff Union of Universities, Dr. Tony Eyang has expressed doubt about the seriousness of Federal government to end the it face-off with the union.

According to Eyang, the simple way for the Federal government to show commitment, beyond the series of Memorandum of Agreements, was for the government to implement just one of its earlier promises.

3. APC will become majority in the Senate after 2019 elections – Lawan

As the 2019 election draws closer, the Senator representing Yobe North, Ahmed Lawan has claimed that the Senate will be dominated by elected members of the All Progressives Congress after the general elections.

The Senator stated this on Saturday in Bauchi State while speaking with newsmen shortly after north east APC national executive council meeting.

4. Atiku attacks Buhari over 2019 budget

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar has attacked Prresident Muhammadu Buhari over the 2019 budget presented to the National Assembly last week.

According to Atiku, the proposed budget as presented is fundamentally flawed. It deliberately ignores and fails to address current realities.

5. Akwa Ibom government denies Buhari use of stadium for campaign

The Akwa Ibom State Government has said President Muhammadu Buhari will not be allowed to use the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, for his campaign next Friday.

he state government, instead, has directed the president and the APC to make use of another stadium, the Uyo Township Stadium, which accommodates a far lesser number of people.

6. Nnamdi Kanu threatens violence if Ikpeazu is re-elected in Abia state

Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has said that Abia state will “burn” if Governor Okezie Ikpeazu is re-elected as the state governor come 2019.

Mr Ikpeazu, who was elected as Abia state governor in 2015 is seeking a second term in office under the umbrella of the Peoples Democratic Party.

7. We will not trade words with legislators over 2019 budget – Presidency

The minister of information, Lai Muhammad, has said that the executive do not have time for war of words with the legislators.

The minister made this known in reaction to a comment Senate President Bukola Saraki made on the 2019 budget.

8. APC denies presence of cabals within Buhari’s administration

Ahead of the 2019 general election, the All Progressives Congress, has denied the allegation that some cabal within Aso Rock have hijacked the campaign of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Report had revealed that a cabal hijacked the campaign and has the plan to step down members of APC National Working Committee, in the scheme of things.

9. Buhari will deal with lawmakers who booed him during budget presentation – Fani-Kayode

The plan of President Muhammadu Buhari against lawmakers that booed him during the budget presentation at National Assembly has been revealed by former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani Kayode.

The former Minister claimed that a source within the Presidency revealed to him that the President swore to deal with lawmakers that booed him.

10. Oshiomhole is just a noise maker – Okorocha

Governor Rochas Okorocha has described the national chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Adams Oshiomhole, as a noise maker.

Okorocha also said that Oshiomhole as a former governor of Edo State-owned civil servants seven months salary arrears by the time he left office.
