Dino Melaye Reacts To PDP Members Defecting To APC In His Constituent

The Senator Representing Kogi West Senatorial district, Senator Dino Melaye, has reacted to the claim that over 3,252 members of the Peoples Democratic Party, have defected to the All Progressives Congress in the district.

Among the people that were reported to have decamped from PDP in the district includes, former Commissioner of Water Resources in the state, Tunji Oshanusi, and Commissioner of Agriculture, Femi Abolarinwa.

The Zonal Chairman of APC, Ropo Asagun, received the decampees at the township stadium in Kabba during the official flag-off of APC Zonal Rally.

Melaye, while reacting to this claim stated that the defection never took place, he further stated that no one would wish to buy hunger with their money.

He tweeted, “The lies of 3000 imaginary people decamping from PDP in my constituency.
