Conte Gives Condition To Replace Mourinho At Manchester United

Former Chelsea head coach, Antonio Conte, has given the condition that will make him accept the managerial work in Manchester United.

Conte, claimed that he only will be interested in taking charge if he is appointed as the coach on a permanent basis.

Recall that Naija News reported that the Red Devils sacked Jose Mourinho on Tuesday following his side’s 3-1 defeat to Liverpool and has since appointed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as an interim manager.

Tottenhan Hotspur head coach, Mauricio Pochettino is one of the names been touted to take over the managerial assignment in Old Trafford on a permanent basis.

Pochettino, though, is in two minds about leaving Spurs and United will need a decision before the season finishes, in order to ensure their man is in place in time.

Conte left Chelsea at the end of last season after the Blues beat United 1-0 in the FA Cup final at Wembley.

The Italian guided Chelsea to the Premier League title during his first season in charge and Conte is still dividing his time between London and his homeland, Italy.

Conte also turned down the chance to take charge of Real Madrid on a temporary basis, following Julen Lopetegui’s sack.
