Mo Abudu‘s blockbuster movie, ‘Chief Daddy’ has displaced ‘wedding party’ as the highest grossing opening weekend movie in Nollywood.
Abudu, who is the executive producer of the movie, made the disclosure in a post on her Instagram page, saying so far, the movie had made N40.26m in the opening weekend.
She had earlier in April, predicted that Chief Daddy will be “December’s blockbuster movie”.
The movie’s story line is about a billionaire industrialist and his extended family of relatives, household staff and assorted mistresses.
