Issa Rae Signs Multi-Picture Deal With Columbia Pictures

Issa Rae, has signed a major deal with Columbia Pictures.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actress-writer signed a multi-year deal called ColorCreative, a platform designed to promote up-and-coming writers with diverse backgrounds.

Rae reportedly cofounded with current COO Deniese Davis in 2015, and the production company currently has a romantic musical in the works called Love in America.

This new Columbia deal will be supervised by the Bryan Smiley.
