Buhari Arrives Abuja From Poland

President Muhammadu Buhari, yesterday returned to the country after attending the World climate change seminar in Poland.

He was received on arrival by senior government officials.

The President had departed the shores of Nigeria from the Abuja international airport on Saturday, December 1 to attend the 24th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP24) under the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) which held between December 2-4, 2018.

During his time in Poland, Buhari held meeting with World leaders were he urged them to save the Lake Chad basin from extinction as the waters in the basin is fast receding at an alarming rate.

Naija News also recalls President Buhari while in Poland, pledged that his government will not rest until the remaining Chibok girls kidnapped by Boko Haram terrorists in April 2014 are safely released.

He renewed his commitment Monday in Katowice, Poland, at a bilateral meeting with Swiss President Alain Berset, on the margins of the UN Climate Change Conference, COP24.

Before returning to Nigeria, Mr. Buhari also paid tribute to the burial site of holocaust victims in Poland while also famously debunked rumours of being dead and replaced by a Jubril from Sudan, telling Nigerians “it is the real me.”
