Oshiomhole Predicts What Will Happen To Obasanjo And Atiku, Come 2019

National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC has launched a fierce attack on former President Olusegun Obasanjo over his support to Atiku Abubakarwho is the presidential candidate of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party PDP in the 2019 general elections.

According to Oshiomhole, both Obasanjo and Atiku would be divinely punished at the polls in February, saying Atiku’s political infidelity would be his main downfall at the polls.

46 Political Parties Back Atiku To Defeat Buhari

The President Candidate of the People Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has been adopted officially by the Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP) as its presidential candidate in the 2019 election.

Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, Chairman of the coalition and a former Governor of Osun State, said this on Wednesday in Abuja at the opening of a meeting of the national chairmen of the parties involved.

The police have yesterday narrated how Kidnap Kingpin Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike (alias Evans), attacked and almost killed the Chairman of Young Shall Grow Motors, Chief Vincent Obianuju.

Onwuamadike is standing trial alongside Joseph Emeka, 29, Chiemeka Arinze, 39, and Udeme Upong, 43, on a seven-count charge of murder, attempted murder, conspiracy to commit kidnapping, attempt to kidnap, and sale and transfer of firearms.

President Buhari Returns To Nigeria From Poland

President Muhammadu Buhari, yesterday returned to the country after attending the World climate change seminar in Poland.

He was received on arrival by senior government officials.

The President had departed the shores of Nigeria from the Abuja international airport on Saturday, December 1 to attend the 24th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP24) under the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) which held between December 2-4, 2018.

Fire Destroys Section Of Benue State Government House

Benue State Government House in Makurdi yesterday suffered a minor fire accident, which temporarily paralyzed activities within the compound.

Though the fire did not claim any life, eyewitnesses say workers were scared, forcing them to abandon work for a while until assurances were given on their safety.

The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) Prince Uche Secondushas cautioned the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, against rigging the 2019 election in favour of the ruling All Progressives CongressAPC warning that the electoral umpire will not get away with such act.

He said INEC successfully rigged the election in favour of the APC in the Ekiti and Osun governorship, saying such is capable of putting the nation in crisis.

Two new military bases attacked by Boko Haram in Nigeria

Jihadist group Boko Haram has attacked two new military bases in northeastern Nigeria, killing one and wounding several others, security sources told Nigeria News on Wednesday.

On Tuesday evening, fighters of the Islamic State group in West Africa ( ISWAP ), a branch of Boko Haram affiliated with the Islamic State (IS), attacked a base in Gudumbali, near Lake Chad, injuring two soldiers.
