Reps Collating Signatures To Impeach Osinbajo, Lawmaker Alleges
Mr. Johnson Agbonayinma, a member of the House of Representatives, representing Egor/Ikpoba-Okha Federal Constituency, Edo State has alleged that some members of the house were collating signatures with the aim of impeaching Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo.
Mr. Agbonayinma made this allegation on Tuesday, while addressing journalists in Abuja.
FG, ASUU Meeting Inconclusive – Ogunyemi
Again, the Federal Government and the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) have failed to come to a compromise as regards the demands of the union, as negotiation ended without any conclusion on Tuesday.
Prof. Biodun Ogunyemi, the National President of the union made this disclosure at the end of negotiation meeting in Abuja on Tuesday.
#2019: APC, PDP, ANRP Release Plans For Security
Plans and strategies for security were today released by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Abundant Nigeria Renewal Party (ANRP) ahead of the 2019 elections.
The plans were reeled out at the Nigerian Political Parties Discussions Series organised by the Centre for Democracy and Development (CDD) supported by the Open Society Initiative for West Africa (OSIWA) in Abuja.
16 Police Officers Killed, 20 Rescued In Zamfara Bandit Operation
The Nigeria Police Force has reported the death of 16 officers in a bandit attack in Zamfara State.
It also confirmed the rescue of 20 policemen who were kidnapped during an attack in Mahanga forest in Birnin Mogaji in local government area of the State.
2019: Lagos ADP Distance Self From Atiku’s Endorsement As Presidential Candidate
The Lagos State Chapter of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) has distanced itself from the purported endorsement of the former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as its Presidential Candidate ahead of the 2019 elections.
The State Chairman of the Party, Barrister Nasir Adewale Bolaji revealed to Naija News yesterday that his party never endorsed nor adopted Atiku Abubakar as its Presidential Candidate. According to him, Engineer Yabagi Yusuf Sani remains the ADP Presidential candidate.
APC Spokesman In Imo State Resigns, Says ‘APC Is A Cult’
The Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress in Imo State, Mr Jones Onwuasoanya, yesterday resigned from his position.
In the resignation letter tendered in Owerri to the State Working Committee, Onwuasoanya accused the APC of impunity, injustice and sharp practices.

Presidential aspirant on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Stanley Osifo, has described the emergence of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar as the party’s flag bearer for next year election as an imposition.

Polytechnic Lecturers To Begin Indefinite Strike On December 12
The Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP) has promised to embark on an indefinite strike action from Wednesday, 12th December to press home their demands.
National President of ASUP, Usman Dutse said on Tuesday the strike had become necessary because the Federal Government had failed to meet the demands of the polytechnic lecturers.
2019: Tinubu Declines To Lead Buhari’s National Campaign
Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, national leader of the ruling party All Progressive Congress (APC), has reportedly turned down a call by the party’s leadership to head President Muhammadu Buhari’s national campaign for the 2019 presidential elections in all states of the federation, Daily Independent reports.

EFCC Boss, Ibrahim Magu Speaks On Vote Buying During Elections
The acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibrahim Magu, has condemned inducement of voters by politicians during elections, saying it is another form of corruption.
Magu said the monetization of electoral process must be frowned on by Nigerians because it could impact negatively on the future of the country.

National Assembly Workers Suspend 3-Day Warning Strike
National Assembly workers have today, suspended their three day warning strike embarked upon in protest of failure of management to pay their wages and allowances.
Naija News learnt that the workers took the decision at the end of a stormy emergency Congress held behind closed doors at the National Assembly complex.

Just In: Governor Akeredolu’s Aides Defect To PDP
Two aides of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State have resigned their appointments and also dumped the APC for the PDP.
Naija News understands the two politicians who resigned were Mr. Akopebi Lubi and Dr. Benson Enikuomehin, who were Senior Special Assistant and Special Assistant to the governor, respectively.

Senator Shehu Sani , representing Kaduna central district, has advised the All Progressives Congress to rent their campaign crowd from Sudan.
