Buhari, Governors In A Crucial Meeting

President Muhammadu Buhari is currently in a meeting with a delegation of the Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF) at the State House Villa, Abuja over the new minimum wage for Nigerian workers.

Recall that the tripartite panel on the new minimum wage chaired by a former Head of Service, Amal Pepple had weeks ago, recommended N30,000 as the country’s new national minimum wage.

The NGF had last week after an emergency meeting of governors on the minimum wage in Abuja, lamented that many states wouldn’t be able to afford the N30,000 without sacking workers.
