Invasion Of Atiku’s Plane, Was A Premeditated Intimidation Tactic – APCO

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar has said that the invasion of his aircraft by operatives of the  Department of State Services (DSS) was premeditated by the All Progressives Congress.

Naija News recalls that operatives of the DSS searched the aircraft that conveyed Atiku back to Nigeria on Sunday.

APC Crisis: EFCC To Investigate Adams Oshiomhole

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) will this week begin investigation into allegations of financial misconduct leveled against the embattled national chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC)Adams Oshiomhole, and his Chief of Staff, Abbas Braimoh.

Speaking at the weekend, a member of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC), who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the anti-graft agency will invite Oshiomhole for interrogation over the allegations as they constitute financial crime.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has be advised by the Former deputy spokesperson of All Progressives Congress (APC), Timi Frank, to resign his position.

Citing the vice president’s alleged illegal approval of N5.8 billion for National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) Frank asserted that Osinbajo was not fit to remain the vice president of the country.

Oshiomhole Says DSS Cannot Remove Him As National Chairman Of APC

Oshiomhole, says the Department of State Services(DSS) cannot demand the resignation of a party chairman.

Oshiomhole said this when he made an appearance on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics, in reaction to comments trailing his invitation by the security agency.

APC Gives Update On Plan To Impeach Saraki, Dogara

The All Progressives Congress, APC, has suggested that it might give up the plan to impeach the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, as it threatened, following their defection.

The APC, speaking through its National Auditor, Dr. George Moghalu, told Daily Sun that the rigid stipulations for the impeachment of the principal officers have compelled the ruling party to shelve the idea.
