Atiku Abubakar group speaks on Buhari's second term bid

Atiku Abubakar, the Presidential flag-bearer of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has returned back to Nigeria.

The Punch reports that the former Vice President returned back to the country on Sunday from Dubai, where he had been for two weeks.

Atiku reported travelled to the Arab country with some of his political allies to strategies on how to wrestle power from the ruling party, the All Progressive Congress (APC).

A PDP chieftain said, “The former Vice-President returned around 12am on Sunday. As you know, campaigns will begin next week and we need to make arrangements.”

Naija News recalls that the APC last week called on security agencies to probe the presidential candidate on his reason behind his trip.
