Thugs have on Friday, invaded the Ondo State House of Assembly, attacking lawmakers, journalists and the staff of the assembly.

The invasion follows an earlier development in the house where the speaker of the House, Mr. Bamidele Oloyeloogun and his deputy, Mr. Iroju Ogundeji were impeached by the 18 out of 20 members of the House.

The two principal officers were removed over allegations of gross misconduct.
