IMN Publishes Names Of Members Allegedly Killed By Military

The Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) has published the names of 34 of its members who had allegedly dead after they were shot by military officers between between October 27 and October 30.

The Movement in a statement alleged that their members were murdered by the military and asked for thorough investigation to be carried out.

Naija News recalls that Members of the sect clashed with soldiers in Abuja last week.

The group said most of the dead were buried in Zaria, Kaduna state, while family members claimed the bodies of others.

The IMN said the list would be updated to accommodate the names of others yet to be identified.

The Nigerian Army have however refuted the claims of the movement, maintaining that it men reacted during the attack in self defence.

The Army also added that only three person dead in the encounter contrary to the claims of the movement.
