Man Kills Himself By Jumping Into Lagos Lagoon

The Lagos State government has reported that a man jumped into the Lagos Lagoon from the Third Mainland Bridge, killing himself.

According to the the Twitter handle of the Lagos State Rapid Response Squad, @rrslagos767, the man jumped into the Lagoon in the early hours of Friday.

However, the body had been recovered with the assistance of Marine Police and local divers, the body has been reported taken to the mortuary.

Recall that in October, a man jumped into the Lagos Lagoon, he was rescued but later died in the hospital.
