How Eden Hazard Is Reportedly Influencing Conte’s Appointment As Real Madrid Coach

Report has revealed that Chelsea star, Eden Hazard, influenced the backing out of Antonio Conte from accepting the coaching terms at Real Madrid.

Hazard, had requested for the Chelsea former head coach not to be placed in charge of the Managerial duty at the Bernabeu.

A respected Spanish journalist, Eduardo Inda, revealed this claims.

La Liga side, Real Madrid had announced the departure of Julen Lopetegui from the club after being in charge of the club for just four and a half months.

He was “provisionally replaced” by ex-player and manager of Real Madrid Castilla, Santiago Solari.

Many had expected Conte to step in after he held talks with club president, Florentino Perez. However, the proposed deal seems to have stalled and Inda said Hazard was behind it.

The Belgian has long been linked with a switch to the Bernabeu but Chelsea opted not to cash in on him last summer.

Inda told Express Sports that the winger has indirectly communicated with Madrid that he “would never sign” for the club if Conte was appointed.

Madrid are expected to make a bid for Hazard during the January transfer window, as they take their chance to convince him away from West London.
