Chris Ngige, the Minister of Labour, on Friday said the Economic Management Team (EMT) and governors will meet on Monday towards addressing the N30, 000 minimum wage proposal and other grey areas.
According to Ngige, no final decision has been taken by the government on the proposed N30, 000 minimum wage.
Speaking with State House correspondents after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, Ngige insisted that the government will not fail to implement the ‘No work, no pay’ rule.
The Nation reports that he said that the rule started under the administration of former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Naija News recalls that the minister said no agreement have been reached by the Tripartite Committee on Minimum Wage on any figure on the matter.
