Europa League: Possible Lineups In Chelsea Vs Bate Borisov’s Match

English Premier League side, Chelsea, will take on Belarus side, Bate Borisov in the Europa League match at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues head into the game after their 2-2 draw with Manchester United in the premier league last weekend. The two sides have never met in any European competition.

Chelsea’s coach, Maurizio Sarri, on Wednesday confirmed that the team’s highest goal scorer this season, Eden Hazard will not play against Bate due to injury.

Hazard sustained a back injury in their 2-2 draw with Jose Mourinho’s side on Saturday. Sarri will also be without youngsters, Ethan Ampadu and Callum Hudson-Odoi due to injuries.

The likes of Cesc Fabregas, Andreas Christensen and Pedro could be in the starting line up against the visitors.

Midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek has recovered from injury and could make his first appearance since October 4.

Meanwhile, BATE Borisov head to the game following a 3-2 victory over Gorodeya in their domestic league on Saturday.

BATE are expected to be without defender, Vladislav Malkevich and forward, Vladislav Mukhamedov due to injuries.

Midfielder Jasse Tuominen may start for the Belarusian side after featuring in their win against Vidi.

Defenders, Dmitri Baga and Evgeni Yablonski may also feature at the defence line for the visitors.

Chelsea’s potential starting XI: Kepa; Zappacosta, Cahill, Christensen, Emerson; Loftus-Cheek, Fabregas, Barkley; Pedro, Giroud, Willian.

BATE’s potential starting XI: Scherbitski; Polyakov, Milunovic, Filipenko, Volodko; Ivanic, Dragun, Yablonski, Baga, Stasevich; Tuominen.
