Breaking News: Fayose Granted N50 Million Naira Bail

Former Ekiti State governor, Ayodele Fayose has been granted bail to the sum of N50m and two sureties in like sum who are to present evidence of three years tax clearance.

Also Fayose’s International Passport is to be deposited with the court.

Justice Mojisola Olatoregun, however ruled that Fayose should remain in prison custody pending the fulfillment of the bail condition.

Recall that the immediate past governor of Ekiti state is standing trial before a Lagos high court on an 11 count charge slammed on him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission bordering on mismanagement of public funds.
