Buhari Visits Lagos To Commission Border Posts In Badagry

President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to perform the official hand-over of the new Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Border Posts at Seme-Krake and Neope-Akanu in Badagry, Lagos state on Tuesday.

Buhari would be accompanied by his Republic of Benin counterpart, Patrice Talon at the event.

Also, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos state would be on ground.

The Lagos state government, in a statement on Sunday through Mr. Habib Haruna, Chief Press Secretary to Governor Ambode, assured that all necessary security and logistic arrangements have been put in place to ensure a hitch free ceremony.

“Already, all necessary security and logistic arrangements have been firmed up by the state government, in partnership with relevant federal government agencies.

“To this effect, the Lagos State government is soliciting the usual support and cooperation of residents throughout the visit,” the statement said.
