Edo State House Impeaches Deputy Speaker

The Edo State House of Assembly has impeached the Deputy Speaker of the house, Hon. Tiger Edoror.

Chennels reports that the impeachment process was initiated by Hon. Osaigboyo Oyoha, the house member representing Oredo East Constituency.

The allegation of financial misappropriation, anti-party activities and corruption against the former Deputy Speaker was purported behind the impeached.

The impeachment process led to a rowdy session as the former Deputy Speaker and some of his loyalists tried to resist the action.
