Kaduna Violence: Saraki Calls for Arrest of Perpetrators

President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, today called for the arrest of the perpetrators responsible for the Kaduna violence.

In messages posted on both his official Twitter and Facebook page, Saraki also called for calm and advised residents not to contribute to the violence in anyway.

He said:

“The pictures and reports coming out of Kaduna State are quite troubling. I urge all residents of the state to adhere to the curfew, remain calm and not contribute to the perpetration of violence.

“I call on our security forces to continue to work round the clock to restore order in Kaduna. They must also do everything within the law to apprehend all those that have contributed or promoted this recent cycle of bloodshed,” the Senate President said.
