Yahoo Boy Kills Police Man In Delta State

A policeman has been killed with another seriously wounded in a fatal auto crash along Airport road in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.

The injured policeman has been taken to an hospital which was not disclosed, where he is currently receiving treatment.

Naija News learnt the two policemen had flagged down a “Yahoo boy” and his driver yesterday around 9pm.

Instead of stopping to clarify himself, the yahoo boy ordered his driver to speed off.

The policeman, in a bid to arrest the suspected fraudster, dragged the steering with his (Yahoo boy’s) driver who was already on high speed.

The incident led to the fatal accident which claimed the life of the deceased policeman as he was crushed by the car.

When contacted, the Delta State Commissioner of Police,CP Muhammad Mustafa confirmed the report saying, “one policeman died. The other was rushed to the hospital. He is severely injured and receiving treatment.”
