FA Charges Mourinho For Allegedly Using Abusive Language

Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho has been charged by the English Premier League Football Association for allegedly using abusive word following his side’s 3-2 win over Newcastle.

Mourinho’s tactical substitution in the second half of the match helped United turn a 2-0 deficit, with midfielder, Juan Mata, forwards, Anthony Martial and Alexis Sanchez, getting on the score-sheet as the game ended 3-2 in favour of the Red Devils.

According to Sky Sports, the FA stated that Mourinho’s language at the end of the encounter against Rafael Benitez’s men was improper.

The Red Devils coach has until October 19 to respond to the charge.

It is alleged that his [Mourinho] language at the end of the fixture, as captured by the broadcast footage, was abusive and/or insulting and/or improper.

“He has until 6pm on October 19 to respond to the charge,” read a statement from the FA.
