Ariana Grande And Pete Davidson Call Off Their Engagement

According to CNN, Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson are over, the news was confirmed by a source close to the singer and the comedian who revealed that their relationship turned sour due to personal struggles.

Back in June, the duo had confirmed their engagement and have always shared their love story on social media, even on interviews where they talk about how they met.

The day I met her, I was like, ‘Hey, I’ll marry you tomorrow,’ ” Davidson recalled during an August interview with GQ, adding that being in a relationship with Grande made him feel like the “luckiest guy in the world.

She was calling my bluff. I sent her a picture [of engagement rings]. I was like, ‘Do you like any of these?’ She was like, ‘Those are my favorite ones,’ and I was like, ‘Sick’,” he continued speaking about their engagement.

For Ariana, she publicly defended their relationship multiple times and even wrote a song titled “Pete Davidson” from her most recent album. “Universe must have my back, fell from the sky into my lap/And I know you know that you’re my soulmate and all that,” she sang.

Things had not being the same since her ex-boyfriend, Mac Miller committed suicide. In her tribute to him, Grande called Miller her “dearest friend.”

I adored you from the day I met you when I was 19, and I always will. I can’t believe you aren’t here anymore,” she wrote. Adding, “You were my dearest friend. For so long. Above anything else. I’m so sorry i couldn’t fix or take your pain away. I really wanted to.”
