Barcelona Draws With Valencia, Sevilla Tops LaLiga Table

Barcelona suffered their fourth consecutive stumble in the Spanish league on Sunday as they drew 1-1 with Valencia away from home for the eighth round.

As a result, they lost first position to Sevilla, who did their homework by defeating Celta de Vigo 2-1. Real Madrid are currently fourth.

With the draw, the Catalan team reached 15 points and was beaten by Sevilla, who now has 16.

Barca are tied with Atletico Madrid, who is in third place for having lower goal balance. Valencia are only 14th place, with nine points.

The result left Espanyol with 14 points, in fifth place of the table. Already Villarreal is the 16th place, with eight points.
