Nigerian Navy Start Receiving Application For Its Direct Short Service Commission Course 26

The Nigerian Navy has announced the commencement of recruitment into its direct short service commission (DSSC) course 26.

The information made available to Naija News in a statement signed by the Navy Secretary on behalf of the Chief of Naval Staff, said the recruitment portal opened on 3rd October, 2018 and application should be done online.

The statement reads:

“Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified Nigerians for enlistment into the Nigerian Navy Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) Course 26.”

“Interested applicants, who must be Nigerians by birth, should possess a minimum of Second Class Upper Division for first degree holders and Upper Credit for HND holders. Male applicants must not be less than 1.68 metres tall while female applicants must not be less than 1.65 metres in height. Applicants must possess NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificate and should be between 22 and 28 years by 28 February 2019, except for Imams and Chaplains who should not exceed 30 years by 28 February 2019.”

“The guidelines for the enlistment can be accessed on the Nigerian Navy Enlistment Portal www.joinnigeriannavy.com which opened on 3 October 2018 for interested candidates to apply online.”
