Hope Uzodinma Defeat Okorocha’s Son-In-Law, Nwosu To Emerge Imo APC Governorship Candidate

Senator Hope Uzodinma has been declared winner of the APC governorship primaries in Imo state, defeating Governor Rochas Okorocha’s son-in-law, Uche Nwosu.

According to reports declared by Ahmed Gulak, Uzodinma recoreded 423,895 votes to emerge the party’s flag bearer for the 2019 governorship elections.

Lagos APC Primaries: Ambode’s Deputy Governor, Idiat Adebule Supports Sanwo-Olu

Dr. Idiat Adebule, the Lagos State Deputy Governor, has dumped her boss, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, and declared her support for Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, in the All Progressives Congress governorship primary election.

Addressing newsmen at Ward A and D, in Iba Local Council Development Area of Lagos on Tuesday where she participated in the governorship primary of the APC, she said she would endorse the candidate chosen by the party.

Atiku condemns Attacks On Jos Communities

Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakarand the People Democratic Party (PDP)Presidential aspirant, has spoken in strong terms against the spate of violence attacks in some parts of Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau that have led to loss of lives and properties.

The Adamawa-born politician expressed deep concern over what he described as “senseless outbreak of violence” which had claimed lives of students of the University of Jos and other innocent citizens.

Lagos APC Chair Declares Sanwo-Olu Winner Of Lagos APC Primaries

Mr. Tunde Balogun, the Chairman of the Lagos State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress, has on Tuesday night announced Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu as the winner of the party’s governorship primary.

According to the chairman, the sitting governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, got 72,901 votes, thereby losing to Sanwo-Olu, who Scored 970,851 votes.
