Ekweremadu Emerges PDP Candidate In Enugu West For A 5th Term In Senate

Ekweremadu Wins PDP Senatorial Ticket For Enugu West

Deputy senate president, Ike Ekweremadu has emerged as the candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Enugu West senatorial ‎ticket for 2019 elections.

He beat four other contenders with 690 votes. His contenders include:  Uche Onyekwelu, 22 votes; Oscar Egwuonwu, 5 votes, Isaac O. 84 votes and OAU Onyema 61 votes. ‎

The Deputy Senate President is seeking a 5th term in the red chambers of the National Assembly.

Also Senator Chuka Utazi emerged, unopposed for the Enugu North senatorial zone.

The Enugu East senatorial zone primary was inconclusive.
