Breaking News: Nigerian Labour Congress Suspends Strike

The Nigeria Labour Congress has called off its nationwide warning strike as a results of Federal Governments promise to reconvene the tripartite committee on national minimum wage on October 4.

The suspension of the nationwide strike is with immediate effect.

The President of the NLC, Ayuba Wabba, who made the annoucement in Abuja on Sunday, disclosed that the labour action was suspended to enable the tripartite committee to hold its crucial meeting and conclude its work.
