The All Progressives Congress (APC), has postponed it’s governorship primaries in both Lagos and Imo states.
The party national chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, announced that the governorship primaries for Lagos and Imo States have been shifted to Monday.
He said it was being postponed for logistic reasons.
There are claims that APC is rooting for a consensus candidate to avoid direct primaries in Lagos State.
It appears APC in Lagos are pushing for a consensus candidate to avoid direct primaries as initially speculated. The incumbent @AkinwunmiAmbode is being pressured to step down by a section of the party’s leadership.
