Doyin Okupe, former presidential spokesman and recently chosen chairman of Saraki Presidential Campaign Media Council has hinted that the Social Democratic Party candidate of the Saturday governorship Election in Osun State, Iyiola Omisore has given in to the All Progressive Congress ahead of the re-run.

The PDP and APC had been wooing Omisore who seem to hold the key to the votes as he commands the respect of a large chunk of the communities where the Thursday re-run will take place.

This is as  Independent National Electoral Commission has scheduled the Thursday rerun to take place in seven polling units across four local government areas — Orolu, Ife north, Ife south and Osogbo, after it declared the Saturday elections inconclusive.

In a tweet Okupe disclosed that he also learnt about the development. He However did not make his source known.
