Fani-Kayode Speaks On PDP’s Fate In Osun Election

Former aviation minister and PDP chieftain, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has reacted to the result of the Osun state governorship election which held on Saturday and was declared inconclusive by INEC.

The former minister in his reaction, said the results mark the beginning of the political funeral rites for the APC National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, The out-going Osun State governor, Rauf Aregbesola as well as the All Progressives Congress itself.

Fani-Kayode further promised to seek collaboration with the SDP candidate in the state, Iyiola Omisore to ensure total victory for Ademola Adeleke and the PDP in the re-run election scheduled for Thursday, September 27 in affected polling units.

Naija News recalls that the Independent National Electoral Commission declared Saturday’s Osun governorship election inconclusive because the number of voters who couldn’t vote due to electoral irregularities, far exceeds the difference in votes between the two leading candidates in the election.

A re-run election was therefore scheduled for Thursday to determine the eventual winner.
