Osun State Governorship Election Witnesses High Turnout Amid Tight Security

There was high turn out on Saturday as residents of Osun headed to their polling units to vote in the governorship election.

Borno APC Chairman’s Son Rescued, Kidnappers Arrested

The son of the chairman of All Progressives Congress in Borno State was reportedly kidnapped by kidnappers, on Wednesday, and the incident was confirmed by the Police.

Kashim Bukar-Dalori, the four year old son of the APC Chairman in Borno state who was kidnapped on Wednesday has been reported rescued by the operatives of the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad in Maiduguri.

Osun 2018: AD Governorship Candidate, Akintola Speaks On ‘Withdrawing From Race’

Ahead of the September 22 governorship election in Osun State, the candidate of the Alliance for Democracy in the state, Olugbenga Akintola has denied withdrawing from the race.

Niyi Omotoso, the Director of Communications of the Olugbenga Akintola campaign organization, who revealed this in a statement, said “Our attention has been drawn to a news circulating, especially on social media, that the governorship candidate of AD has joined forces with other candidates to withdraw from tomorrow’s elections.
