Nigerians React As PDP's Adeleke Wins Osun Governorship Election

Senator Ademola Adeleke, the embattled governorship aspirant of the people’s democratic Party (PDP) in the September 22 election in Osun State has slammed the police invitation to him over the allegation of certificate forgery.

Chief Lere Oyewumi, the Director-General of Adeleke’s Campaign Organisation, in a statement said the certificate issue had been tried and judgement given by an Osun State High Court presided over by Justice David Oladimeji.

Adeleke, who admonished the Nigeria Police Force not to be used by the All Progressive Congress (APC) for its dubious cause, said that the police invitation was unnecessary because another case on it was also before a court in Abuja

He said, “The police have become a willing tool of oppression and intimidation in the hand of the APC.”

He, however, commended President Muhamadu Buhari for directing the police to stop the arrest
