Salah Speaks On Liverpool Winning The Champions League And Premier League

Mohamed Salah has said that Liverpool have what it takes to win both UEFA Champions League trophy and the Premier League title this season.

Liverpool Striker, Mohamed Salah, is sure that his side has what it takes to win the UEFA Champions League and the Premier League title this season.

Salah stated this ahead of his team’s Tuesday Champions League Group C opener against Paris Saints-Germain at Anfield.

Liverpool over the weekend had defeated Tottenham Hotspur in a 2-1 victory in the Premier League match.

PSG also had defeated St Etienne 4-0 in their Ligue 1 encounter on Friday.

Speaking on Liverpool’s chances in the Champions League and Premier League this season, Salah told French outlet, France Football, “I’m sure we can win it.

“Last season, we eliminated Manchester City (in quarter, 3-0 and 2-1), then Roma (5-2 and 2-4) , who had come to beat FC Barcelona in the quarterfinals (3-0, 1-4).

“We played against teams that claimed the title, and we still managed to reach the final.

“So, of course we can do it again! I’m sure we can win it. We can even win both, the Champions League and the Premier League title. I do not want to put pressure on you, but yes, anything is possible!

“The PSG has strong individualities and a very good team. I cannot wait to play against them! I expect a very pleasant and intense confrontation.“
