Group Endorses Governor Dakwambo As Their PDP Candidate.

A group, North East Forum for Better Nigeria, has described the Gombe State governor Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo as the best candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to confront and defeat President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2019 elections.

The chairman of the group, Adamu Hassan Buzaye disclosed this in Bauchi while speaking on the aspirations of the governor and his bid to secure the PDP presidential ticket.

“Dankwambo’s triple disposition of transparency, accountability and sustainability, coupled with his zeal and commitment to implement far-reaching policies and programmes will definitely take Nigeria to the promised land,”he said.

According to him, the PDP Governors Forum will also support the PDP presidential ticket to be given to a serving PDP governor, not past ones like Kwankwaso, Lamido, and Makarfi, talkless of Tambuwals, a one term governor who recently cross-carpeted into the PDP.

“With the new twist by the PDP hierarchy ahead of the party’s forthcoming primaries, it is envisaged that PDP-controlled states in the federation will elect Governor Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo as the presidential flag bearer to slug it out with President Buhari in the 2019 polls.‎”
