Kemi Adeosun Resigns As Nigeria’s Finance Minister
Nigeria’s Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun has reportedly resigned her position in President Buhari’s cabinet.
It is not clear yet when her resignation letter was submitted but Naija Newsgathered her resignation is as a result of the allegations surrounding her National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, certificate.

President Muhammadu Buhari Friday accepted the resignation of the Hon. Minister of Finance, Mrs Kemi Adeosun. The President thanked the Minister for her services to the nation and wished her well in her future pursuits.
In a statement signed by Mr Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity and made available to Naija News President also approved that the Minister of State Budget and National Planning, Mrs Zainab Ahmed, should oversee the Ministry of Finance with effect from today.

Prosecute Kemi Adeosun Now – HURIWA Tells NYSC
A pro-democracy and non-governmental organisation, Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria, HURIWA has called for the prosecution of the Former Minister of Finance Mrs. Kemi Adeosun for forgery.
HURIWA stated that Adeosun’s resignation should not be the end of the matter, while calling for her prosecution.
Oyetola, Omisore, Others Pledge To Solve LAUTECH Crisis

Omo-Agege Gives Reason Why Saraki Should Be Sent To Prison
The Senator representing Delta Central, Ovie Omo-Agege, on Thursday, urged the Federal High Court in Abuja to send the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, to prison for disobeying court orders.
In form 49 (contempt of court charge) he filed before the court, Omo-Agege, alleged that Saraki had since refused to comply with the judgment that nullified his suspension from the Senate.
