La Liga giants, Real Madrid has been reported to have set aside the sum of €372million to sign a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo.

Naija News recalls Real Madrid’s top scorer, Ronaldo moved to Juventus during transfer window and the Spanish giants have been looking for a new superstar player.

AS reports that the money apparently was “saved for an operation that never came to pass”, after prospective moves for Neymar and Kylian Mbappe were deemed impossible by Real’s transfer executives over the summer.

Real Madrid plan to sign one or maybe two big names, when the transfer window opens again in January.

The plan may however not work out as president Florentino Perez plans to take loan to help finance a €575m renovation of the Santiago Bernabeu stadium.
