Loftus-Cheek To Wait For His Time At Chelsea

Chelsea midfielder, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, ahead of their Saturday match, stated that he will wait for his chance to be in the starting line up of Maurizio Sarri at Stamford Bridge.

The 22 year old player said this as Chelsea prepares for their match against Cardiff City on Saturday.

The England player is yet to start a match for the blues this season, having been substituted in the club’s first four games.

The arrivals of midfielders, Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic at Chelsea in the summer have increased the competition for places in the midfield with N’Golo Kante and Fabregas also fighting for the spot.

Recall that Naija News reported that there were speculations that Febregas could leave Chelsea with interests coming from Italian side.

Being 22 feels quite old, considering some of the boys were playing when they were 17 or 18,” Loftus-Cheek told Sky Sports.

I’d like to have more appearances at Chelsea by now, but it’s just the way my journey has gone, and I just have to be patient with it.

“I can see it as a positive; I’m playing for England, playing well when I play, and that’s without too many appearances so it’s still raw in that sense.

Loftus-Cheek hopes to feature when Chelsea clash with Cardiff City this weekend in the Premier League.
