Ekiti Lawmakers Approve N10b Supplementary Budget

N10 billion supplementary budget has been approved by the Ekiti state house of assembly as requested by Ayodele Fayose, governor of the state.

Naija News recalls Fayose, on September 11 forwarded a supplementary bill titled “2018 Revised Budget” to the assembly for approval.

This is about a month to the end of his administration, as Kayode Fayemi, governor-elect of the state, would be sworn in on October 16.

It was gathered that at a sitting which started around 12pm yesterday, 14 lawmakers, including Kola Oluwawole, the speaker, went through the proposal within an hour and passed it.
