Chief Olusegun Mimiko, a former governor of Ondo state, has joined the 2019 presidential race and is set to announce his decision to contest on the platform of the Labour Party (LP).
Information gathered says that his official declaration is scheduled for 10:00am today at the headquarter of his party in Abuja.
Mimiko was a two-term Ondo State Governor between February 2009, and February 2017.
He served as the fifth civilian Governor and 16th Governor of Ondo State, Nigeria.
Naija News recalls that he recently returned to the Labour party in June 2018 after dumping the Peoples Democratic Party.
