Saraki Picks Doyin Okupe As His Media Council’s Chairman
The President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki, on Tuesday, picked Dr. Doyin Okupe, the former presidential spokesman as the chairman of his Presidential Campaign Media Council.
The former Kwara State governor made this known on his twitter handle: @bukolasaraki.
He tweeted: “I am pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Doyin Okupe as the Chairman of my Presidential campaign’s Media Council. Dr. Okupe has served as the National Publicity Secretary of the National Republican Convention.
Dr Doyin Okupe brings many years of strategic insight to my campaign team, having worked as the Director of Communications for the Presidential campaigns of two former presidents, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo and Dr. Goodluck Jonathan.”
Naija News recalls that Dr. Bukola Saraki had yesterday visited victims of the gas explosion in Lafia, Nasarawa State to commensurate with them.
He had visited the state PDP secretariat to advance his interest to run for the seat of the president come 2019.
