Twitter Goes Wild With Talks Of Tinubu.

Former Lagos state Governor, Bola Tinubu, has been largely criticized on social media for allegedly saying that Osun state cannot pay his bills.

He was said to have made the statement, when he visited the palace of the Ataoja of Osogbo, Oba Jimoh Olanipekun.

Tinubu was reacting to reports that he is trying to impose Oyetola, the All Progressives Congress’ candidate in the forthcoming gubernatorial election on the State so as to use him to syphon money.

He revealed that his sole aim is to take Osun State to greater heights, through development.

According to him:

“Oyetola is a reliable person. He may be quiet, but the sense he has… he is an encyclopedia of finance.

He will not take a bribe; he will not steal your money. If he is looking for money, he would have stayed back in Lagos. Osun doesn’t have Oyetola’s kind of money.

I’m not abusing the state. I asked those saying that I’m trying to plant Oyetola in Osun, that how much does Osun have? Osun doesn’t have my kind of money.”

Following this statements, critics have suggested that the former governorhas been looting Lagos of funds, suggesting that only Lagos can pay him.
