Suarez Says Madrid Is Above An Individual

Uruguayan and Barcelona striker, Luiz Suarez, has finally spoken out on Cristiano Ronaldo‘s move from Real Madrid to Juventus.

Ronaldo, during his stay at Madrid was the clubs all time highest goalscorer, and had joined the Italian giants this summer in a 100 million euro deal.

While speaking on Ronaldo’s departure from the La Liga side, Suarez said the Champions League holders are far above one player and that Ronaldo’s departure won’t be as bad as some think.

“It’s Madrid and it’s above the individual,” Suarez told RAC1 via Mundo Deportivo.

“They have many players of good quality, at a great level and a new coach. A new coach always generates ambitions.

“Both Madrid, as well as Barça, are above. In the Supercopa and the first league games were at a good level, some [players] who were a bit self-conscious now have more prominence.“
