Birdman Pledges Support For Lil Wayne

Birdman has officially apologized to Lil Wayne, the move took place at the fourth annual Lil Weezyana Fest in New Orleans on Saturday.

The Cash Money boss had taken the mic from Wayne and issued an apology in front of the crowd at Champions Square.

He said, “I knew this day was gon’ come, but I didn’t know when it was gon’ come, “But this ni**a right here, the best ni**a, the realest ni**a, the illest ni**a. And I wanted to apologize to my ni**a worldwide.

The apology led to the two embracing each other and thereafter Birdman pledged his loyalty to Wayne saying, “That ni**a put his life in my hands and I’ma keep it real with that ni**a, we gon’ do this shit till the day we die. This YMCMB for death,” he continued before performing the Big Tymers’ “Still Fly.”

Recall that Wayne had sued Birdman and Cash Money in 2015 for $51 million, seeking release from his contract. The suit was settled for an undisclosed amount in June. Wayne is expected to be back in the scene before the end of this years.

“We’ll get that this year,” Birdman told Rap-Up in February. “I’m guaranteeing you gon’ get it this year.”

During Saturday’s Lil Weezyana Fest, Nicki Minaj also made a surprise appearance to perform hits including “Barbie Dreams,” “FEFE,” and “Big Bank.”
