Former R-APC Leader, Baraje To Join PDP, Supports Saraki’s Presidential Interest
Former Leader of the Reformed All Progressives Congress (R-APC) Alhaji Abubakar Baraje, has said he is returning to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in few days time.
Baraje is not the only one returning, some of his other supporters in the R-APC are joining him, he confirmed Today in Ilorin kwara State.
We Did Not Pay Ransom For Dapchi Girls, Nigerian Government Insists
The Nigerian Government has denied claims by a United Nations report that it paid huge ransoms to secure the release of the Dapchi girls.
The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, in a statement issued in Ilorin, Kwara State, on Thursday, challenged anyone who has any evidence of payment to publish such.

The United Nations has revealed that the Nigerian government through the Information Minister Lai Mohammed lied that they didn’t pay any ransom to free scores of female students kidnapped by the Boko Haram from their school in Dapchi .
It would be recalled that Naija News reported that Over 100 girls were kidnapped from the Dapchi school by a Boko Haram faction in February this year with about 105 of them later released by the terrorists.

Senate President Bukola Saraki has stated that he is considering joining the 2019 Presidential Race President.
He also revealed the deal he struck with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)prior to his defection from the All Progressives Congess (APC), according to Bloomberg.

The owners and publishers of Premium Times online publication, Premium Times Services Ltd, has declared that the statements released by the Nigerian Police on the apprehension of Mr Samuel Ogundipe were false and prejudicial.

A pro-government outfit, the Buhari/Osinbajo Mandate Group, BOMG has called for the immediate resignation of the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki.
