INEC Meets National Assembly Again Over 2019 Election Budget

Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), is currently leading other officials in defending the commission’s budget for the 2019 general elections in the country.

Prof. Yakubu and his team of Commissioners are before the Joint National Assembly committee on INEC and Electoral and Political parties matters for the second time.

As reported by Naija News, the meeting is necessitated by discrepancies noticed by the lawmakers in the presentation made by the electoral body and that submitted by President Buhari.
