APC’s Victory In Katsina A Sign That Buhari Is Popular Across The Country

Prince Tony Momoh, a former Minister of Information, while speaking on Wednesday, said the achievement of President Muhammadu Buhari in the past three years exceed the achievement of the Peoples Democratic Party in its entire 16 years.

Momoh, a national leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), told Independent that he was confident that the President will secure more votes than any Presidential candidate since 1999.

In his statement he revealed that the by-election in Katsina North Senatorial District is a prove that the President is popular all over the country.

“Buhari will have more vote than any other presidential candidate since 1999. People today are assessing votes through social media but social media doesn’t vote. Social media has the credit of shouting and yelling but shouting and yelling can’t win votes.

“Go and register, get your PVC and vote. I can assure you that Buhari has done more than what PDP has done in 16 years in just three years and those things will speak for him 2019.

“Look at what happened in the just concluded bye-elections. Some people went to Daura and they thought they can defeat Buhari in his constituency. In his polling unit, PDP had just one vote while APC got 206 votes,” he said.
