Police In Ghana Currently Investigating Incident

The family of late Solomon Korang from Sunyani Newtown in the Brong Ahafo Region, in Ghana, have raised concern after the mortuary could not provide his body for burial.

According to Daily Guide, the body of late Korang was sent to Best Care Clinic and Mortuary Services by one Nana Fosu for preservation on 16th July, 2018.

The family had on the 9th of August visited the morgue to retrieve the corpse for burial and funeral service, but nowhere to be found.

The incident led to the disruption of the arrangements for the funeral that had been made.

Further investigation into the incident later revealed that another family from Asuakwaa near Chiraa in the same district mistook their late father for Korang’s corpse, and they had buried him on August 3rd, 2018.

The deceased daughter, Kyeremaa Florence, who was not pleased with the explanation of the mortuary authorities, reported her ‘missing’ father to the Sunyani Police.

And police is investigating to identify the family that came for her father’s corpse.
