Nigerian rapper, Falz has described the ban on his song “This is Nigeria” by the National Broadcasting Commission as hilarious.

The NBC, which pointed out that a part of the song “This is Nigeria, look how we living now, everybody be criminal” said the part of the song is laced with vulgar lyrics and shouldn’t be aired.

As earlier reported by Naija News, a media station in Jos, Plateau state on Thursday was fined N100, 000, for playing the song.

Falz who reacted to the ban via his Instagram account shared a copy of the ban letter with a hilarious smiley.

He captioned “This is Nigeria. Look how we living now, everybody be criminal” is apparently a vulgar line

Olamide’s song titled “See Mary, See Jesus” and Wande Coal’s Iskaba was also banned by the commission who explained that both songs contravened the law, Naija News recalls.
